Systems Data Logging
Data Logging is the process of recording data (using a remote data logger) over a set time typically to document building mechanical equipment function or indoor environmental quality. Data Logging allows a holistic view of a mechanical, electrical or environmental property not possible during a typical site survey which is limited to observation at one point in time.
Data Loggers can be remote stand-alone devices or used within a wireless network that allows for remote monitoring.
Data Logging is often useful in the following scenarios:
- Documentation of Building Systems Function when Conducting Commissioning or Retro-Commissioning
- Preparation of an ASHRAE Level Two or Three Energy Audit
- Compliance with IPMVP when Conducting a Measurement and Verification Study
- Forensic Analysis of Building Systems
Our team of licensed Professional Engineers can deploy data loggers and report findings as required to meet your specific project needs.
